Accounting Department Management:

·Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

·Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

·Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

·Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

·Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.

·Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

·Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS, local regulations, VAT, GAFI, FDI, and WHT requirements.

·Handle tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, and other local taxes.

·Stay updated on changes in KSA & Egypt accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.

Financial Strategy and Planning:

·Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise the company's financial performance and achieve its objectives.

·Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic budgets and forecasts.

·Develop tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Audit and Internal Controls:

·Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.

·Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger transactions.

·Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.

·Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Team Leadership and Development:

·Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and effectiveness.

ERP Implementation and Process Improvement:

·Lead the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting capabilities.

Cash Management:

·Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funds are available to meet operational needs and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

-Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.

-Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

-Proficiency in accounting software (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

-Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices.

-Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
