Senior Accountant

I'm currently working with an established and growing SME based in South Manchester who are looking for an experienced individual to join them as a Senior Accountant.

The successful candidate will be working very closely with the Finance Director and will be responsible for:

* Supporting the accounts payable/receivable function
* Assisting with the production of financial reporting
* Assisting with various projects, including a system migration
* HMRC returns
* Reviewing of current processes to identify improvements/efficiencies
* Statutory audit
* CIS returns
* Liaising with external accountants and payroll bureau

The company are looking for someone who is ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and who is adaptable, bright and has a hands-on approach.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a more steady and slightly less challenging position, which can be done across either 5 days a week or 4 days a week.
