We’re looking for an ACCA or ACA newly or part qualified Senior Accountant in Doncaster to join a long-established firm.

Job Purpose
  • Support a varied client portfolio, with a focus on compliance
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Attend networking events and meetings regularly to deliver a proactive, person-centered service
  • Supervise junior staff, including reviewing work and supporting their professional development
  • Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
  • Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
  • Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Demonstrable accounts, personal and corporation tax experience gained within practice
  • Strong understanding of FRS 102
  • A proven track record of managing a client portfolio, including monitoring commercial aspects
  • Strong working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • A team player who can also work autonomously
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
