Senior Accountant

Our international client is going through an exciting period of growth and development. Following an internal promotion they now have an opportunity for someone with solid accounting skills to join their friendly team in St Ives.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, duties will include

• Producing month end accounts for group companies
• General ledger review and month end close
• Cost of sales analysis
• Prepayments and accruals
• Cashflow consolidation
• Treasury management
• Journal posting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Ad hoc reporting

This role will suit someone who has proven experience in a similar role who enjoys technical accounting and being busy.

Experience of cashflow, treasury and IFRS accounting standards would be a distinct advantage and strong Excel skills are a must.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is also well-versed in adhering to deadlines and exposure to overseas entities would be advantageous.

Qualifications are not essential to this role but experience and attitude are key.
