Senior Accounts Administrator - Accounts Section - Head Office (Ref: 874)

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for a Senior Accounts Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office.

The principal duties are: to support the delivery of efficient and effective accounts management services to the Union ensuring payments and queries are promptly actioned in line with Union guidelines.

The successful applicant will possess: knowledge of accounting software; knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation; knowledge of bank reconciliation; an ability to support and motivate staff to work to agreed deadlines to ensure accuracy at all times; IT literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite; well-developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
