Position: Senior Accounts Payable

As a Senior Accounts Payable, you will be an integral part of the finance function, supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable process for the company's real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:Process high-volume invoices and ensure proper approvals are in place before payment.
Liaise with property managers, contractors, and vendors to resolve any issues regarding payments.
Maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including the timely payment of suppliers and contractors.
Review and approve payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable to the general ledger.
Assist with month-end close processes and report to senior management on AP-related matters.
Improve processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Ad-hoc reporting and project work as required.
Proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a property or investment environment.
Strong understanding of property management and vendor relations.
Advanced Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, SAP, MRI).
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Desirable:
Experience in a senior accounts payable role, or with a supervisory element.
Exposure to international transactions or multi-currency payments.
Experience with property management accounting systems.
