A Senior Accounts Payable Clerk is sought for a temporary role in the professional services industry in Edinburgh. The role involves dealing with all aspects of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing and vendor management.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor management.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process employee expense claims and credit card statements.
  • Ensure accurate recording and coding of invoices.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and provide reports as necessary.
  • Work with internal and external auditors as required.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and handle any inquiries.
  • Support other accounting projects as needed.

Profile

A successful Senior Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Oracle Fusion would be of great advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
