The Company:

My client is on the UK's leading environmental consultancies specialising in comprehensive environmental assessments and solutions. Their services encompass indoor air quality, mould inspection, and an array of environmental and building acoustics. Their Acoustic services include noise impact assessments to support planning applications, acoustic building and mechanical design, noise modelling, noise at work and UKAS sound insulation testing.

The Role:

My client is looking for a highly skilled Acoustics Consultant to join their dynamic team, in Harlow. The role is critical in assessing and mitigating noise issues on a wide variety of acoustic projects. As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will contribute to the growth and development of the business.

Role responsibilities include:

• Managing exciting projects and advising clients on developments.
• Understanding and applying relevant UK noise policy, regulations, and standards.
• Processing data, report writing and technical review work.
• Developing client relationships.
• Liaising with clients, local authority officers and stakeholders.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Acoustic Consultant, specifically technical report writing.
• Membership to the International Institute of Acoustics (MIOA).
• A degree in a relevant field (Acoustics / Physics / Mechanical Engineering, with relevant modules).
• Excellent time management skills.
• A thorough understanding of British Standards and competence in attending site.
