My client is a prominent UK-based firm specialising in acoustics, noise, and vibration consulting. They are looking for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Manchester. They are known for their expertise in providing innovative and effective acoustic solutions across a wide range of sectors. Some key aspects of their services include architectural acoustics, environmental noise, building services noise and vibration, and event and entertainment Acoustics. Notably, they have been involved in some of the most creative and iconic events and entertainment venues, including stadiums, arenas, and outdoor events. Currently, this company are working at Glastonbury!

The role:

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team, in Manchester. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of projects, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions in acoustics, noise, and vibration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct environmental noise assessments.
• Perform sound insulation testing for compliance with building regulations.
• Design acoustic solutions for a range of exciting projects.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Undertake acoustic modelling using the latest software.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 year of professional experience in an Acoustic Consultancy role.
• Degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
• Acoustic design experience, especially in the entertainment industry, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of UK noise regulations and building standards.
• Membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IoA).
• Full UK driver's license.
