The Company:

My client, who are a one of the biggest Acoustic Consultancies in the UK, are looking for a Senior Acoustic Engineer. Their expertise in architectural acoustics and noise control solutions have been renowned for over 50 years. Impressively, they have delivered innovative solutions to several iconic landmarks such as the Supreme Court, the LFC Anfield Stadium, and the Royal Albert Hall.

As a Senior Acoustic Engineer, you will be based in their busy London office. You will be delivering your expert Acoustic advice on global groundbreaking projects, with the great opportunity to progress in a big company that also values the individual. Here, your career will accelerate.

Role responsibilities include:

• Prepare fee proposals and ensure projects are completed within the assigned budget, and time frame.
• Liaising with engineers, architects, developers, and contractors to deliver excellent acoustic services.
• Undertaking noise assessments.
• Support junior members of staff via supportive mentoring.
• Collecting acoustical data, using the latest equipment and software.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Acoustics, preferably in the built environment.
• Experience managing the financial and technical side of small to medium projects.
• Be an existing Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA)
• A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, including Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
