Senior Acoustics Consultant

My client is a reputable global organization looking to recruit a Senior Acoustics Consultant to work from their office in London.

You will be joining a multidisciplinary consultancy that provides a full range of engineering support to commercial, public sector and industrial clients that span over a wide spectrum of markets including infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, and environmental programs.

Requirements for this role are; minimum of a BSc or MSc in Acoustics or closely related field, a minimum of 5 years commercial experience in acoustics, membership of the Institute of Acoustics (preferably full membership), up to date knowledge and understanding of legislation such as BS 4142, BS 5228 and ProPG, and a driving licence.

Duties will include-

* Undertaking noise surveys, assessments and measurements.
* Writing technical reports.
* Supporting junior staff.
* Liaising with clients and other industry professionals.

You need to be of a social nature and be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of people. My client is looking for an individual that is a fast learner and is able to manage workload in an effective and timely manner in order to meet tight deadlines.
