Civil Engineering Main Contractor

North Somerset

An opportunity has been created for a Civils biased Senior Agent to join a Global Tier 1 Main Contractor on a permanent basis on a multibillion-pound project in North Somerset. The project involves delivering reinforced concrete structures, roads and complex multi network installations for a major nuclear new build.

As a Senior Agent, you will be responsible for the management of the construction site supporting the Project Manager and managing a team of engineers. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

For this role you will need the following experience:
  • Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant professional experience
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS, Construction Skills Certification Scheme CSCS
This is a permanent position based on site so Hybrid working isn’t an option as you will be required to be on site weekly so you will need to live within a commutable distance of the Bridgewater / Taunton area.

Due to the nature of the projects previous experience of working on a major Infrastructure project is essential and ideally experience within reinforced concrete.
