We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Air Export Operator to join our dynamic team based at London Heathrow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled logistics professional to take the next step in their career, with a clear path toward a Team Leader position.

You will play a key role in the efficient and compliant handling of all air export operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while mentoring junior staff and supporting the operational team.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined in the job description, the employee may be required to take on additional duties as needed to meet business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end air export shipments
• Liaise with airlines, handling agents, and overseas offices
• Prepare and process export documentation (AWBs, customs entries, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
• Monitor and manage shipment schedules, resolving issues proactively
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely updates
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to process improvements and team development
• Assist in training and developing staff in preparation for a Team Leader role

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in air freight export operations
• Strong knowledge of air export procedures, documentation, and regulations
• Familiarity with customs systems and export control requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring a plus
• Right to work in the UK
