Job Title: Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience

My client is an award winning RIBA Chartered architectural practice renowned for its creative and sustainable designs, working on a wide range of projects from schools and hospitals to residential and commercial buildings. They have a number of offices across the UK in which their team of skilled professionals collaborates to provide customized solutions that address the unique needs of each project. The studio prioritizes innovation, technical precision, and environmental stewardship, ensuring that every design frequently surpasses client expectations. They are seeking a passionate Senior Architectural technician to join their social team in Cambridge.

The successful Senior Architectural Technician will have post qualification experience working on a range of projects being well versed in Revit with an innovative approach to design and strong technical abilities.

Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Working towards MCIAT/ already achieved it
  • Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or related subject
  • Extensive post qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
  • Proficiency in Revit and other industry standard software
  • Capable at producing high quality technical drawings
  • Experience working across multiple sectors including mixed use, residential and education
  • Boast excellent technical abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building regulations
  • Creative design approach
  • Keen to input to company growth
  • Job running experience
  • Positive proactive attitude
  • Work well both independently and in a team
  • Driven to continue professional development
  • Passionate about incorporating sustainability
  • Ideally experience in the conservation sector
  • Live locally to Cambridge
