My client, a global pharmaceutical and biotech company with a goal of contributing to healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability. They are focused on improving people's quality of life by preventing, alleviating, and curing diseases. They have a wide pharmaceutical portfolio, specialising in some of the following areas: Oncology, rare diseases, and Inflammation. There is an opportunity for a Senior Associate Observational Research - Epidemiologist, to join their team on a 12-month rolling contract.

Your new role
As a highly motivated individual, you will join their Data & Analytics Centre (DAC) within the Centre of Observational Research (CfOR) team as a Senior Associate Observational Research - Epidemiologist, where you will be responsible for performing analyses on real-world data (RWD) assets. You will be responsible for writing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), developing medical code lists for studies, guiding data analysts to explore large healthcare databases and interpreting the study results and outputs.


What you'll need to succeed
Must have a Doctorate (PhD) in Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content.

Experience working on large databases statistical software e.g., - practical experience of using large databases such as clinical practice or research database.

Writing Statistical Plan

Extensive experience creating and reviewing code lists.

SASS or other statistical software experience

Being able to demonstrate experience in observational and research experience is important.
