An international and independent Lloyd's Broker, with a strong reputation within the London Market, are now seeking a Head of Aviation/Broker to lead and grow their Aviation accounts. Your new company, who part of a wider group, have been established for over 20 years and specialise in providing innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their valued global partners and clients. Their specialist areas consists of Property, Casualty, Professional and Financial Lines, Construction, Special Risks, Cargo and Aviation, plus more.

This is an exciting position, for either a current Head of/Director, or a Senior Broker, who is keen to step up, lead their existing accounts, as well as developing the portfolio and eventually building a team around you.

Role Duties

• Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of existing Worldwide Aviation accounts
• Ensuring a first-class service to clients and partners to ensure accounts are renewed annually
• Developing new client and underwriter relationships
• Actively looking to grow the portfolio by a commercially minded approach
• Working closely with the Broker Support Team to ensure timely and accurate market documentation
• Placing complex Aviation risks into the London Market Insurance
• The option to travel globally and develop new relationships
• Eventually building and leading a team

Role Requirements

• 5-7 + years of Lloyd's Broking experience
• Experience in Aviation insurance/reinsurance risks
• Strong client and market facing skills
• Solid negotiation skills with a commercially minded approach
