Ryder Reid Legal is looking to recruit an experienced and innovative Senior BD & Marketing Manager to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients at their London office. The ideal candidate will work directly with practice/industry leaders in developments, leads, and assisting in the execution of strategies and business plans that support the overall business goals of the firm.

The general duties of the position include:

  • Consult with Partners to develop and execute marketing and client developments plans for practice groups and individual lawyers.
  • Lead, attend and contribute in practice group meetings and planning sessions.
  • Manage, develop and refine processes and procedures relating to BD infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the planning, implementation, and follow-up of new business or cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Advises on the business development and marketing budget for practice groups, providing guidance and recommendations.
  • Lead the development of profile raising activities, including the submission of rankings, surveys, league tables, and other recognitions.
  • Participate in hiring, managing and developing staff.
  • Delegate work efficiently and effectively to other team members.
