Salary: £57,000 - £62,000 per annum plus a fantastic benefits package!
Location: Milton Keynes
Role Type: Hybrid – 2 days a week on-site

Are you a Senior BI Developer looking to join a fantastic global technology business in Milton Keynes?

The organisation are looking for a Senior BI Developer with a strong background in Tableau, ideally with 4+ years’ experience to join their expanding team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with brilliant routes for progression and development.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Business Intelligence solutions to provide reporting and data access for both external stakeholders and internal staff.

You will collaborate closely with the Data Warehouse development team and various stakeholders across the organisation to create solutions that generate reports, supply data, or enable self-service report creation.

You will take the initiative in understanding and analysing business requirements to design and develop effective solutions.

Additionally, working with the BI Manager to help shape the strategy for improved reporting and enhanced data visibility whilst assisting in mentoring the BI Developers and BI Support staff.

Responsibilities:

Proven experience with SQL Server and T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Views, Indexing, Performance Tuning, Analysing query plans)
Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI (ideally both)
Experience of building and supporting reports and SQL queries in a production environment
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and documentation
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Experience of working as part of a BI / Data Warehouse / Reporting team
