This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy in their offices in Plymouth. The successful candidate will take the lead on a range of complex and large-scaled projects in a predominantly client facing role
Role responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer include:
- Carry out energy assessments and thermal analysis using IES
- Produce low and zero carbon reports, as well as reports for building regulations that comply with Part L
- Produce EPC's for commercial and domestic projects, as well as SAP calculations for domestic projects
- Identify new opportunities for business development and growth of the company as, well as developing and maintain client relationships
The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer will have:
- Relevant master's degree within a mechanical, building services, or architectural engineering field
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a relevant role within the built environment industry
- Experience with design and modelling software such as IES, SAP, and Revit
- Hold a Level 5 Energy Assessor accreditation and Low Carbon Consultancy qualification
- Full UK driving license
