Payments Background - CHAPS & Cross border

The client:

Fully remote role for a leading financial services client, looking for 2 Senior BA with a background in CHAPS, Payments, Cross Border and Payments Liquidity Funding and Settlement

The role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with has a proven track record in experience supporting payments change on large, complex, and/or regulatory projects. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of payment end-to-end processing, particularly CHAPS & Cross Border, and will be responsible for ensuring that proposed changes are fully documented and understood by the business

About you:

• Proven background as a Business Analyst in payments background - CHAPS, Cross border, Payment Liquidity
• Experience across the full project life cycle, using Waterfall project methodologies and Agile principles.
• Proven ability to lead workshops to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality artefacts.
• Ownership of planning and delivering work package artefacts, with the ability to lead, coach, and support less experienced colleagues.
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications for Position (1 of 2):

• Broad understanding of payment end-to-end processing (CHAPS & Cross Border).
• Understanding of Business Architecture Capability Modelling.
• Experience in supporting Business Architects with the derivation of Business Design & Business Design Artefacts.

Additional Qualifications for Position (2 of 2):

• Detailed understanding of Payments Liquidity Funding and Settlement.
• Good understanding of Basel 3 regulatory reporting.
• Experience of Data Mapping.
• Understanding of Payment Accounting Models & Reconciliations.
