Cedar are a recruiting a Senior Business Analyst position for a growing renewable energy business with headquarters based in London. This is a permanent position reporting in the Planning Director and work closely with other stakeholders. This is a newly created role due to a growth strategy and will offer hybrid working, an attractive salary package and an opportunity for growth.

The objective of the role will be to define and deliver both business and team goals. You will work with multiple work streams and provide evaluations and strategies to enhance business processes.

The duties/responsibilities of the role are: -

  • Assess, develop and refine financial models to perform detailed analysis of the business and liaise with other departments.
  • Provide detailed analysis and present to stakeholders to drive business excellence.
  • Work with wider team assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes as well as providing support to cycle plan.
  • Work with stakeholders and provide in depth financial/economical analysis and evaluation for lead projects.
  • Provide further support for revenue optimisation and process improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will be an experience business analyst that has worked in the renewable energy sector and a proven track record with corporate modelling. The successful candidate will be well versed in presenting to stakeholders and confident to lead to strategy sessions. Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream would be highly advantageous. The ideal person will have strong communication skills, be a creative thinker and work to strict deadlines.
