Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the team.

Location: London (Remote)

Salary: £80,000 -£90,000 PA

Job Type: Full – Time, Permanent

Senior Business Development Manager – The Role:

This dynamic new position provides an opportunity for a SaaS Business Development Manager with connections in the Finance and sectors to elevate this successful company to greater heights. Due to expansion, our client is seeking to fill a crucial role in their sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will focus exclusively on acquiring new business, and developing and implementing a pipeline of new clients within the financial services and retail markets, in accordance with the strategic plan.

Senior Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Take full ownership of generating the pipeline necessary to meet targets

- Independently generate leads by targeting relevant accounts and markets

- Develop account plans to support self-originated opportunities and gain deeper customer insights for future growth

- Identify and secure additional support needed for opportunity origination

- Show industry knowledge and actively contribute to developing propositions

- Display product expertise and understand how it stacks up against key competitors

- Develop long lasting relationships with prospects and drive repeat business

Senior Business Development Manager – You:

- Proven experience and a successful track record in fulfilling the responsibilities and objectives outlined above

- Experience working in a B2B sales team within the Finance and payment sectors

- Experience selling SaaS solutions

- Experience securing high card turnover businesses (£1m+)

- Comfortable in a 100% self-generated environment

- Strong organisational skills and an analytical mindset

- Effective communicator capable of engaging with individuals at various levels of seniority

- Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
