SENIOR CAD DESIGNER

LUXURY JEWELLERY - LONDON

Company:

Responsibilities:

  • Design client & stock pieces from order specifications
  • Produce cast-ready files; dealing directly with our metal casters
  • Lead the designing of collections for the business with illustrative renders (as well as CAD) when required
  • Use 3D printing technology to provide waxes promptly ready for client appointments
  • Lead in the laser engraving of rings & use of laser cutting for merchandising when required
  • Drive the CAD team in best practices and train new CAD team members when required

Requirements:

  •  An excellent technical understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes
  •  Able to produce advanced bespoke client work, bench skills highly preferrable
  •  Strong working knowledge of technology including 3D printers, laser cutter, laser engraver, CNC, etc
  •  Demonstrate and drive a high level of quality control in the team

Offering:

  • Salary up to £35,000
  • Competitive performance based bonus - up to 8%
