Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in elderly care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.
  • Administer medication in accordance with care plans and policies.
  • Lead, support, and mentor junior care staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
  • Develop and review individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and positive living environment.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within a residential care setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
  • Other: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
