Castlefield Recruitment are working with an NHS organisation based in North London to appoint a Senior Category Manager (Estates and Facilities)
They are a truly hybrid organisation with an ability to work from home 2 days per week.
With a strategy to ensure procurement effectiveness and value for money is delivered, you will have full responsibility to develop and implement a category strategy.
Role:
As Senior Category Manager you will take the lead on the complex portfolio of Estates/Facilities related contracts across the organisation.
Duties:
- Lead the creation of category knowledge and embed this within the PPS team
- Undertaking a range of complicated and complex procurement projects within the E and F category area – utilising JCT/NEC contracts when required
- Support and assist with the development and implementation of robust procurement procedures in line with best procurement practice
- Maximise contract compliance across internal and external stakeholders
- Lead on high level negotiations and reviews on contracts/issues with external suppliers
Person:
The successful candidate:
- Extensive NEC/JCT contract knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
