Well-known consumer brand require a Senior Category Manager - Technology. Applicants need strategic procurement expertise, contracts negotiation skills and experience across the Technology/IT categories.

The Senior Category Manager - Technology will be responsible for leading commercial activities across technology categories. An exciting, end-to-end role encompassing sourcing, contract negotiations and post signature supplier relationship management activities. The Senior Category Manager will also get to support a department in an exciting time of growth and transition, collaborate closely with their respective stakeholder community and drive change across the organisation.

Specific duties of the Senior Category Manager include:

  • Negotiate and manage supply contracts - drive contract completion, manage risks,
  • Business and stakeholder partnering to develop category supplier strategies and roadmaps
  • Supply market intelligence activities around the IT/Tech supplier landscape
  • Ownership of the vendor management framework to manage supplier performance
  • Ability to support a procurement function in transition and collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT etc

Senior Category Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Deep experience within IT and technology procurement
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies
  • Proven negotiator accustomed to agreeing and managing supply contracts. Understanding of contract law
  • Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to drive change and simplify processes
