Salary: £26500 - £31,300.00 dependent on experience (OTE includes sleep-ins paid at £50 per night and bonus package)

Location: Derby DE21

About Us: We are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. We provide a unique service by combining care and therapy to support young individuals with Emotional and/or Behavioural difficulties within our children’s homes.

About the Role: As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be part of a responsible team tasked with the day-to-day care of young people. Your role involves acting as a positive role model to ensure their physical, social, and emotional needs are met. You'll encourage participation in various opportunities, contribute to care plans, and maintain high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care for young people with Emotional and/or Behavioural difficulties.
  • Act as a positive role model and ensure their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Encourage participation in healthy and meaningful activities.
  • Contribute to care plans, report writing, and monitoring.
  • Work directly with families, social workers, and relevant individuals.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
  • Experience in Residential Childcare and working with young people.
  • Caring, committed, friendly, and mature outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resilience to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Full Manual UK driving licence.
