Senior Civil Engineer

Gloucester

£38,000 - £50,000

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Gloucester office of a multi-discipline consultancy, with a great reputation of providing a high-quality service. They have been running for over 40 years and have grown to three offices across the UK. #

They cover:

  • Civil Engineering (Infrastructure)
  • Structural Engineering
  • Transport Planning
  • Temporary works
  • Site appraisals

And more, they work on a mixture of Residential, Commercial, Leisure, and Retail projects.

The role:

  • Detailed design of Drainage, Road Infrastructure and earthworks on a wide range of projects
  • Preparing drawings from concept through to construction
  • Flood Risk Assessments, design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Working with Section agreements 278,38, 104 and 185
  • Management/leadership of other team members with technical work and report writing
We’re looking for someone with…

  • Relevant degree plus 4+ years’ experience in a Civil Engineering role
  • Experience with Flood Risk Assessments, drainage statements etc
  • Skilled with AutoCAD and Microdrainage and AutoTrack
  • Experience with line management

This role has excellent progression routes to Principal and above, in order to give you the skills needed to be effective on both project and client management plus skilled design. We need someone who is commercially aware and enjoys creative solutions to project challenges.
