A prestigious and globally renowned Construction Consultancy in Birmingham is on the lookout for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager.

This role represents an exceptional opportunity for a proficient professional to play a key role in an organisation celebrated for its excellence in the Real Estate sector.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager will be instrumental in leading Project Management Commissions, ensuring top-notch service delivery from inception to completion. This role involves managing significant projects, with values up to £40m, and potentially larger advisory roles in sectors such as urban regeneration.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Construction Project Manager:

• Strategic advising at the project conception stage to ensure client objectives are met effectively.
• Overseeing project success criteria including timelines, costs, technical standards, and performance.
• Effectively managing quality, safety, health, and environmental aspects of projects.
• Implementing robust project governance, processes, and systems for optimal efficiency.
• Advising on resource procurement and leading multifunctional project teams.
• Utilizing performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes.
• Handling project finances and managing change control processes diligently.
• Ensuring effective communication and reporting between the team and clients.

Additionally, the Senior Construction Project Manager will actively participate in marketing and business development activities, seeking new opportunities, and contributing to bids for new work.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

• Ideally Chartered with RICS/APM/CIOB.
• Degree in Project Management, Construction, or Quantity Surveying.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Real Estate projects, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Full UK driving license
• A proactive and 'can-do' attitude.
