Job Role - Senior Consultant – Logistics (Capex and Automation)
Location – London/Remote with Travel
Salary – up to £70,000 + benefits

Pod Talent are excited to be partnering again with a boutique and leading Supply Chain Management Consultancy, seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead and contribute to projects focused on Logistics and Automation for both SME and World-Renowned clients, and across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities for the position for Senior Consultant – Logistics (Automation and Capex)

  • Project Leadership and Implementation: Lead and manage warehousing automation projects, from solution design to implementation, focusing on technologies for example - conveyor systems, pick face tools, Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), Automatic storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) etc.
  • Client Collaboration and Vendor Management: Work closely with clients to provide tailored solutions and coordinate with suppliers for timely and quality delivery of automation systems.
  • Solution Design: Develop and design innovative warehouse automation solutions, selecting the appropriate technologies and creating detailed equipment requirements and cost models.
  • Performance Optimisation and Cost Management: Optimise system performance, manage project budgets, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints while maximising value.
  • Provide training and support for new systems, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and stay updated on the latest industry trends.

Required Experience for the position of Senior Consultant – Logistics (Automation and Capex) -

  • Extensive background in designing and estimating warehouse systems, with successful business development experience enhancing warehouse operations through advanced technologies.
  • Practical expertise in implementing and managing logistics solutions, with a focus on warehouse automation and collaboration with MHE Automation partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong project management capabilities from design to completion, and excellent communication abilities to foster strong client relationships.
  • Degree qualified

To note

  • There is an option for remote based contract, however must be flexible to travel to London and client sites when required.
