We're thrilled to present an exciting opportunity to become a pivotal member of our client's Residential Conveyancing Team as a Senior Conveyancer. Our client is a distinguished firm known for its commitment to excellence and continuous professional development. As a Senior Conveyancer, you'll lead the department, handling a diverse caseload encompassing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, remortgages, shared ownership, and more. This role offers substantial responsibility, allowing you to work closely with two assistants and utilize the LEAP case management system. We're seeking an individual who can seamlessly manage files from inception to completion, ensuring an efficient and entirely in-house process.

Your Role

As a Senior Conveyancer, your primary mission is to lead the department as a senior fee earner, proficient in managing a diverse caseload. You'll oversee various property transactions from start to finish, contributing to the refinement and implementation of internal processes. Collaboration with your team and upholding high standards of legal service delivery are essential. Your success hinges on your exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience in fee earning, enabling you to effectively manage cases and client interactions throughout the conveyancing process.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in conveyancing, with a track record of handling complex cases.
  • Post-Completion Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in post-completion tasks is crucial.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to foster client relationships and collaborate with team members.
  • Case Management: Familiarity with LEAP case management software is advantageous.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a department, guiding team members towards operational excellence.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to managing legal documentation and processes.

Offer Details

  • Salary: £28,000 - £37,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Location: Office-based role, with all transactions managed in-house.
  • Schedule: Full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday.
