Senior Conveyancing Solicitor
My client are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to be appointed as Head of Conveyancing, to join their team. This role would suit an individual looking to take the next step in their career.
As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for facilitating residential property transactions and ensuring all legal requirements are met. This is a crucial role that requires excellent communication, organisational, time management, and IT skills.
Duties:
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions, such as contracts, deeds, and mortgage documents
- Conduct research on properties to ensure clear title and identify any potential issues or restrictions
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information and resolve and issues
- Co-ordinate property inspections, surveys, and appraisals
- Calculate and prepare settlements statements, including the distribution of funds
- Attend closings and ensure all necessary documents are properly executed and recorded
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and associated documentation
Qualifications:
- Licenced Conveyancer or Solicitor
Experience and knowledge:
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of property laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient in using relevant software applications for document preparation and record keeping
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
