Senior Credit Controller

Are you a results-driven Senior Credit Controller or Credit Manager with a proven track record of transforming debt ledgers? We’re seeking an Interim Senior Credit Controller to play a pivotal role in reducing outstanding debt from £20 million to £10 million in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation based in Derbyshire.

Interim (6 months)

Hybrid - Castle Donington, Derbyshire (2 days), work from home (rest of the week)
Start Date: Immediate

£250-300 a day

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & implement strategies to significantly reduce outstanding debt
• Proactively engage with clients and internal stakeholders to streamline cash collection
• Assess and improve credit control processes to enhance efficiency
• Build strong relationships with key customers to negotiate payment terms and reduce overdue balances
• Work closely with the finance team to forecast cash flow and ensure accurate reporting
• Identify and resolve aged debt issues with a hands-on, problem-solving approach

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller / Credit Manager with a proven track record in debt reduction and with a hands on detail orientated approach. You will need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels along with well developed problem-solving skills and confidence in managing complex accounts and debt scenarios
