What you’ll be doing
- Develop and enhance data platforms to support innovative scientific research and data analysis needs.
- Optimise data workflows to handle complex datasets, including genomic and proteomic information.
- Collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary teams to refine data insights and support advanced research.
- Implement secure and efficient data processes using state-of-the-art technology stacks.
- Adopt and advocate for Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and continuous improvement across projects.
- Strong skills in Python, experience with data handling frameworks, and proficiency in version control tools.
- Capability in managing and transforming large datasets, with a solid understanding of data storage solutions both in SQL and NoSQL environments.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services e.g GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data integration and pipeline construction tools, with a keen interest in adopting new programming languages or technologies.
