Senior Data & Support Engineer:

Our Financial Services client is seeking a Senior Data & Support Engineer to develop and support their Business Intelligence (BI) functions, including the data warehouse. This role requires collaboration with divisional teams, with a strong focus on supporting the finance department. This is a permanent role based in London and is hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for data access, ingestion, processing, integration, visualisation, and analytics.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate business insights.
• Manage the data warehouse and regulatory reporting tools.
• Oversee overnight data feeds from internal and external sources.
• Perform database administration.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of data management tools (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake).
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
