Senior Design Engineer - £50k-£60k - Nottingham - Medical
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a high-tech medical device development company who are developing a pioneering new technology which will revolutionise their market. They’re looking to expand the R&D team with a qualified Senior Design Engineer with a background in mechanical, biomedical or industrial design. You will need to be experienced and interested in all aspects of product development, including concept generation, prototyping, test, analysis and manufacture.

Main Duties:
+ Develop innovative, high-level design concepts
+ Full product lifecycle development
+ Concept generation
+ Rapid prototyping
+ Test and evaluate prototypes
+ Compile technical reports

Skills and experience required:
+ Degree in relevant discipline
+ Proven experience in medical device development
+ Previously worked to relevant quality standards - ISO 13485
+ Experience in prototyping and testing
+ Strong 3D CAD skills
+ Experience in different manufacturing processes - injection moulding

The salary will be between £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefits package available.
