Our client is a leading researcher in an innovative industry supplying into a variety of different sectors. The company operate via innovative methods, they are looking for an Senior Design Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Development of mechanical design solutions in a multi-disciplinary

Environment.

• producing 2D and 3D designs for issue to Production Engineering.
• Carrying out load calculations to determine stresses, informing material types, as well as considering requirements for instrumentation and pressure plotting.
• Assign Drawing Numbers (D Numbers) and Assembly Numbers (A Numbers) to
• parts within scope of allocated work, using 4C software.
• Be the technical lead for projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• A 2.1 or above in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline or HND or equivalent in technical discipline.
• Knowledge of relevant software packages preferably Catia, Isight, Matlab, Abacus, other FEA.
• UK Citizen
• Knowledge of design for manufacture.
