A well established pioneering consultancy firm is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their end client on a 6 months contract. You will provide technical solutions that meet customer and business requirements working in a cloud infrastructure environment.
As a DevOps Engineer, your focus is on overseeing the development, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS. You will drive automation using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Additionally, you'll optimise development processes and integrate security best practices throughout the deployment lifecycle.
As a DevOps Engineer you will have the following key skills
- Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS)
- Automation & Configuration Management (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Containerisation & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD)
- Security Best Practices (Security controls, vulnerability scanning)
- Capacity & Performance Management (Optimising cloud resources)
- Scripting & Programming (Python, Shell scripting)
- Linux System Administration
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Must have - Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS
