A leading retail business is hiring for a Senior Digital Merchandiser to join their team in Redditch. With digital sales continuing to rise, this is a great opportunity to work in a high-impact role optimising online performance and product visibility.
The Company
This business operates across three major pillars: Motoring, Mobile, and Garages-with the Garages division now accounting for over 50% of overall turnover. Their tyre category is their largest, with online tyre sales recently surpassing another major company, making this one of the fastest-growing areas of the business.
The Role
You will sit in the core digital merchandising team, working on the Extended Range-a project that enables the company to list products via external vendors through dropshipping and on-demand delivery. You'll play a critical role ensuring listings are optimised, content is effective, and the customer journey is seamless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee product uploads and maintain accurate range listings online.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal buyers to ensure product details, copy, and imagery are optimised.
- Identify opportunities to enhance content (e.g., video, customer reviews).
- Focus on improving NPS through UX and customer journey enhancements.
- Work closely with customer service teams and CRO analysts to troubleshoot and improve user experience.
- Analyse funnel data and provide regular updates on performance metrics.
- Support commercial teams with insights on digital performance.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in digital merchandising or ecommerce is essential.
- A proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle online and how content affects sales.
- Analytical mindset - able to assess performance and customer drop-off points.
- Good communication skills - must be able to collaborate cross-functionally across buying, customer service, UX, and marketing teams.
