Job Title: Senior Ecologist

Salary: £32,000 - £39,000

Location: Taunton

We are working with a specialist ecology consultancy who are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join the team. You can expect a comprehensive benefits package including hybrid working with flexible working hours, overtime for "out of hours" bat surveys, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, excellent CPD and training and private health care.

As an Senior Ecologist you'll be coordinating habitat and protected species surveys including report writing for a variety of projects across the Southwest. You will also be responsible for mentoring and line managing a team of Ecologists.

To be considered for the Senior Ecologist position, you'll need proven experience as an Ecologist within a consultancy environment and hold a driving licence and your own car. You should be competent at managing projects and providing best advice and practice in a consultancy environment. You should hold or be working towards protected species licences.
