Job Title - Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Location & flexibility - Newcastle - Onsite role

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

About the Job -

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AC electrical systems and components for various projects.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on high LV Power Distribution, industrial control panels and busbar systems, complete with a good understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Design and develop LV electrical systems for Electric Vehicle Charging applications, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and applicable standards

About you -

• Educated to HND/HNC or Degree
• Efficient in use of Eplan - Highly Desirable
• Minimum of 3 years’ electrical engineering design experience in a relevant discipline
• Good familiarity of working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience of leading more junior staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clear presentation of technical information
