Surrey - Senior Embedded Software Engineer - 60-70k

This is a great opportunity to join an established medical start up who are producing hundreds of bespoke units weekly and work with them on exciting new projects within AR/VR applications. This position requires someone with a solid understanding of Embedded Software development within C/C++ and firmware development on STM32 MCUs.

Main Duties:
+ Design and implement firmware for Embedded Systems, ensuring high performance and reliability
+ Work to medical device standards and products that are Class 1 devices
+ Develop robust firmware architecture utilising processors such as ARM Cortex-M, STM32 etc.
+ Ensure and implement design for manufacture principles

Skills Needed:
+ Strong Embedded C/C++ experience
+ Experience working on STM32 32-bit Arm Cortex MCUs
+ No medical device experience is needed but experience in the industry would be a good advantage
+ Experience working in a fast paced environment, ideally within a startup would also be an advantage

Further Information:

This position is a hybrid role and you would be expected to be in the office around 1-2 days a week. The role also comes with benefits such as private health insurance.
