Overview: Are you a Facilities or Operations Engineer looking for an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and innovation of one of the world’s most iconic estates?

This role offers full support to gain Engineering Chartership while you play a key part in safeguarding the heritage and functionality of the King’s Palace.

Role Description: As the Senior Engineering Facilities Manager, you will lead the Royal Operations team, dedicated to the meticulous upkeep and modernization of the estate. Your responsibilities will include overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance, managing tender processes, and innovating systems to enhance efficiency while respecting the palace’s unique character.

The role demands strategic leadership across various maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Royal Household standards and driving long-term improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the Operations Engineering Team to achieve excellence in maintenance.
  • Oversee a range of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to a skilled team of engineers.
