Hours per week: Mon-Thurs 08:-18:00 and Friday 08:00 - 17:00. Two shift patterns 08:00-16:30 or 09:30-18:00

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for Senior ER Advisor to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Ipswich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of ER cases, offering comprehensive advice and guidance to managers, and driving cases to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Proactively handle and escalate any long-standing cases to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure that managerial decisions are well-informed and that risks are minimised.
  • Offer coaching and support to managers throughout the ER case management process.
  • Actively monitor, control, and escalate suspension cases to reduce costs.
  • Assist managers in handling high-risk Occupational Health (OH) referrals by asking the right questions and seeking expert advice.
  • Support managers in drafting various correspondence, including invitations and outcome letters.
  • Collaborate with ER Partners, Strategic HR Business Partners, HR & Training Managers by generating insightful reports, graphs, and trend analysis.
  • Attend weekly or bi-weekly and quarterly meetings to discuss ER cases and associated risks.
  • Maintain the accuracy and up-to-date status of our case management system.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues in other business areas when necessary.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Minimum Level 5 Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification or actively working towards it.
  • Prior experience in Employee Relations or Employment Law.
