About the Job:

This role requires a people-focused and commercially minded professional to support the organisation’s commercial objectives. You will work closely with functional Directors, providing analysis, insights, and support for informed decision-making.

Duties will include:

  • Identifying financial opportunities and risks within business units
  • Supporting managers with budget compliance and conducting regular finance reviews
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on budgets, forecasts, and business cases
  • Maximising the value of spend and return on investment
  • Engaging proactively with stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Assisting with new business and customer proposals
  • Supporting Procurement with supplier selection and contract negotiations
  • Providing training to enhance stakeholders' financial acumen
  • Developing meaningful financial reports and supporting stakeholder understanding
  • Tracking KPIs and providing performance improvement insights
  • Reviewing month-end P&Ls and posting accruals as necessary
  • Tracking capex and project statuses with monthly commentary
  • Supporting statutory audits and compliance with financial regulations
  • Ensuring data quality within finance systems and developing necessary controls
  • Driving continuous process improvement within the Finance team

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and a proven ability to communicate financial matters clearly. You should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to challenge the status quo, and provide solutions for financial issues. Proficiency with business intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, is desirable.
