Senior Finance Business Partner

Macildowie Finance are currently supporting a leading project focused business, with operations in Leicester, to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner.
This role will be responsible for facilitating and driving decision making at a senior level and will best suit an experienced commercial finance professional with a passion for driving operational and commercial value through analysis and insights.

Responsibilities will include;
Management, coaching and development of a Finance Business Partner.
Act as a true Finance Business Partner - delivering reporting in a clear concise manner, helping non finance stakeholder to interpret performance metrics.
Bids and tenders support - providing high quality analysis and modelling to support commercial activity.
Project performance reporting - analysing commercial and operational performance areas.
Variance analysis - highlighting areas for potential improvement and providing commentary on key drivers.
Take a lead on budgeting, planning and forecasting activity for projects, working closely with the project leadership teams.
Cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.
Continuous improvement of processes and projects in line with wider business initiatives
Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.

Experience Sought:
CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
Analytical and innovative approach to solutions with excellent systems skills - Advanced Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present information in detail and to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrable business partnering experience.
Detailed commercial finance background in a large business.
