Senior Finance Manager (FTC)

Partner Financial is working with a global, industry-leading media company. Dedicated to their customer-centric strategy, the brand provides a progressive approach to their product offerings, which has significantly impacted their industry.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the month-end closing process and managing the balance sheet, working capital, and the necessary processes and controls, while working alongside the senior leadership team to provide relevant insight.

Key responsibilities:

• Working alongside regional teams for better integration, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
• Overseeing the monthly close process and the preparation of management accounts to ensure the timely production of the Group’s consolidated statements, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Ensuring adequate controls are in place across all payroll areas within the Group. Preparing consolidated monthly reports on payroll costs and headcount.
• Managing all tax and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely preparation of VAT and Corporation Tax computations.
• Monitoring the company's cash flow by completing reconciliations and investigating any variances or discrepancies to a satisfactory resolution.
• Overseeing and training a team of three accountants to ensure accurate recording of month-end balances.
• Optimizing business cash flow usage, with a focus on mitigating forex risks.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• A natural team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to promote good teamwork and a culture of transparency.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.
• Working experience within multi-currency environments would be key.
