Axon Moore are delighted to be working exclusively with a well known Leeds based client to recruit a Finance Manager. 

Our client is going through substantial growth through several acquisitions and needs the support of an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Accountant who is immediately available for both interview and start date. 

This is a brand new and exciting role that will over see the finance functions for several acquisitions and well as direct line manage 2 Management Accountants and 3 Assistant Accountants.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts to agreed deadline.
  2. Ownership of intercompany across all entities.
  3. Prepare VAT returns across all businesses for waste processing division.
  4. Perform monthly review of accounting results.
  5. Responsible for ensuring all bank accounts are regularly reconciled and receipts/payments are allocated.
  6. Working capital management and production of weekly cashflow to review with FC.
  7. Develop cashflow forecast model with weekly submission to FC.
  8. Control and coordinate the weekly and adhoc payment run process.
  9. Lead and support the team of Management Accountants (2), Assistant Accountants (3).
  10. Submit ONS statistics to HMRC.
  11. Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
  12. Assist with Balance Sheet reviews and reporting as required.
  13. Assist with systems implementation and internal control processes.
