Role: Senior Financial Accountant

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

Cedar is partnered with a PE backed and growing Tech business to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. The company has annual revenues circa $100m and a global client base covering nearly 100 countries. The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager covering financial reporting and other ad hoc elements of finance. The role is operating a very flexible working pattern and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office at least once a week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Finance team, mainly in areas relating to the preparation of monthly management accounts for Group and subsidiaries.
  • Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations and appropriate supporting documentation to drive minimal year-end adjustments.
  • Involvement in monthly management reporting ensuring that all business units are coded to accurately and understanding / reporting on the reconciliation from management to statutory accounts.
  • Supporting with ad-hoc task requests from the US (mainly driven by PE backers).
  • Involvement in the external annual audit process including preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Support in the transition from Sage X3 to Netsuite.
  • Ad hoc support to the FC and the wider finance team.

Profile:

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Experience preparing management / financial accounts
  • Revenue experience is helpful but not required
  • Keen to get stuck in and work on manual processes
