The Business

Axon Moore are currently partnered with a leading international Hospitality business with a head office in Central Manchester, in sourcing a high calibre, ambitious Senior Financial Accounting Manager. Our client have overseen significant growth year on year, backed by a significant global investment business, leading to significant expansion both in the UK and internationally. With a particular focus on sustainability and innovation, our client are showing so signs of slowing down.

The Role

As Senior Financial Accounting Manager you will be working closely with the International Finance Function, FD and CIO in developing a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth. You will be a true business partner to the senior leadership team whilst managing and developing a small team. Alongside, due to a strong international presence you will have oversight of foreign exchange and tax.

- Oversight of month end processes
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes for the individual business units
- Creation of the monthly board pack including commercial commentary 
- Oversight of Tax, VAT and annual audit process
- Cashflow forecasting 
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Partnering with senior leadership and investors to drive continued growth
- Continued development of the financial controls and processes 

The Individual 

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Strong technical skills
- Able to manage senior relationships effectively 
- Comfortable influencing decision makers and recommending improvements
- Experience within a fast growing business
- Although not essential, experience of working in an international business is desirable
